About the Position

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort while succinctly explaining each procedure with kindness
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic results
• Maintain imaging equipment and promptly address any technical issues
• Systematically document imaging procedures and maintain accurate electronic patient records
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and protocols

Educational Background

• Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or another recognized board
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
