This position will be located at our downtown Salt Lake City, UT location.Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:Develop and grow a book of business by prospecting, networking, and leveraging centers of influence (COIs)Identify and pursue new commercial insurance opportunities across targeted industries and market segmentsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, carriers, and referral partnersConduct comprehensive risk assessments and deliver customized insurance and risk management solutionsManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and renewal strategyConsistently meet or exceed individual sales and revenue targetsCollaborate with internal service and underwriting teams to ensure exceptional client service and retentionDevelop and execute a personal sales and marketing plan to drive sustained growthStay informed on market trends, carrier appetite, and industry developmentsEntrepreneurial mindset with a long-term approach to building a bookConfidence in cold outreach, networking, and closing dealsHigh energy, disciplined work ethic, and goal-oriented focusCommitment to delivering value beyond the policy through trusted advisory relationshipsQualifications:Proven track record of success in commercial insurance sales or business developmentActive Property & Casualty (P&C) license requiredStrong prospecting and pipeline management skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain a network of referral sources and clientsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilitiesSelf-driven with a high level of accountability, resilience, and competitive driveAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environmentRequires a College Degree and 4+ years in insurance industry with underwriting, sales, and renewals. Insurance licensing required.
