We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Survey Crew Chief to conduct Boundary, Topographic, Alta Surveys, and Construction layouts. The ideal candidate will oversee and operate a one-person crew, utilizing various advanced surveying instruments and software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Boundary, Topographic, and Alta surveys, as well as Construction layouts.
• Oversee and manage a one-person survey crew.
• Operate surveying equipment including theodolites, total stations, and Trimble robotic instruments.
• Download and upload survey data to the appropriate files in the computer network or field data collector.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Experience in running a one-man crew.
• Proficiency in operating surveying instruments such as theodolites, total stations, and Trimble robotic instruments.
• Knowledge of GPS equipment is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of land surveying, including Boundary, Topographic, and Alta surveys.
• Experience with boundary survey software.
• Familiarity with Topcon and Trimble GPS systems.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downers Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
