Job Details Location: Parsons, KS 67357 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Education Level: High School (Bachelor’s preferred) Travel: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Admin - Clerical Job Purpose Treatment Planning Coordinators are responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits, communicating with patients about treatment cost, generating and presenting financial arrangements to patients, processing payments, and maintaining a productive and efficient schedule. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and present clear and reliable treatment plans for patients, including presenting financial options and documenting the final financial arrangement Secure appropriate documentation from patients and store in applicable software Build strong relationships with patients and support activities that grow the practice Reconcile invoices, identify discrepancies, and check reports for accuracy Document reliable billing activity in internal databases and reporting software Receive and sort incoming payments with attention to accuracy and timeline Manage the status of accounts and balances; identify inconsistencies Process and post patient payments Issue invoices and receipts to patients Update the accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments Coordinate with Central Billing and Medical Billing teams to ensure proper billing and collections Maintain a professional reception area Monitor and reply to emails and voicemails Check daily appointment schedules and fill gaps to ensure positive production Prepare end‑of‑day reports and deposits Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required; prior dental experience preferred Working Conditions Dental practices run at a fast pace and treatment coordinators must keep up with the flow of doctors and patients.
