Description: 5YR EXP/ 1ST TIME OK- CLS Lead/Manager Start times could vary between 7am-330pm or 8am-430pm or 9am to 530pm Weekends (rotating) Holidays, open to negotiation **they must have 3 years of blood bank exp ****If our team finds any background or license hit during the compliance process, they will be automatically cancelled****this is a lead/manager role**Certs: ASCP-MLS ASCP-BB **Lead/Management Experience Preferred**Skills: Hospital clinical laboratory Management (preferred) ABO/Rh/Antibody Screen & ID AHG Crossmatch Antibody Typing: Tube Method Antigen Typing Blood banking procedures Blood irradiation Cold Agglutinins Cord Blood Evaluation Crossmatch-Immediate Spin/IgG Direct Coombs (DAT) Electronic Crossmatch Indirect Coombs Test Patient identification process Rhogam Screening Thawing/Cooling of Blood Products Transfusion Reaction Workup Reporting test results Blood specimen storage Hazardous materials and MSDS Proper disposal Proper labeling Quality assurance and controls Transmission based precautions EPICRTO must be submitted at time of submission

Pre-Start Requirements EKG Exam Advanced EKG exam required. Two attempts permitted; 80% minimum passing score required. Onsite exam: 20 questions 17 rhythm strips 3 general questions 45-minute time limit Failure results in assignment cancellation. Modules Required prior to start and vary by specialty. Completion tracked via transcripts. Billable: Clinical: up to 8 hours Non-Clinical: up to 2 hours Additional time is non-billable.

Submission Requirements Active California license required at submission. References required. Copies of all required certifications must be included with submission. Local candidates accepted at the travel rate. Return staff reviewed on a case-by-case basis and require facility approval.
