Our client is looking to hire skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce high-precision metal and plastic components. In this role, you will read blueprints, adjust machine controls, and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet exact specifications and quality standards.If you are an experienced CNC Machinist looking for your next position, APPLY TODAY for immediate consideration to this direct hire position! 

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers by installing tools, loading raw stock, setting work offsets, and aligning fixtures.
• Write, upload, and optimize G-code/M-code programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) or conversational programming directly at the machine controls.
• Run precision machining jobs, monitor feeds and speeds, listen for abnormal tool wear, and adjust controls to maintain tight tolerances.
• Inspect first-article and in-process parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMMs).
• Troubleshoot machining issues, optimize tool paths to reduce cycle times, and recommend fixture/tooling upgrades.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, keep work areas clean and orderly, and adhere strictly to shop safety protocols and PPE requirements.
