Nurse PractitionerThe Nurse Practitioner ensures appropriate comprehensive health care to support the clinical care team in achieving Neighborcare's goals for quality care, productivity and patient satisfaction. Perform independent clinical activities, and collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants when appropriate to achieve quality patient care. Work in partnership and joint accountability with other lead team members to achieve Neighborcare's Mission and Guiding Principles and goals.Please note that as a part of the school-based health care program this position is on standby during the summer for approximately eight to ten weeks. School based employees are not paid during the standby period. The duration of the standby period may fluctuate from year to year depending on many factors.This is a grant funded position.Health, Wellness & Retirement benefits:Medical, dental & vision insurancePaid time off & paid holidaysRetirement with contribution matchLife & AD&D, pet insuranceEmployee assistance program, & more!Compensation:The target wage range for the ARNP and PA positions is $56.94 per hour to $82.44 per hour.Final offers are individually based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications, work schedule and other job-related reasons.Primary Responsibilities:Role does not have support of a Medical Assistant, so medical provider will room patients, collect vital signs, administer vaccines/injections, dispense medications, conduct Point of Care testing, perform phlebotomy, clean instruments, and process lab samples. The provider will also be responsible for inventory management of medications, medical supplies, and vaccines.Provide patient centered preventative care, as well as diagnoses and treatment of acute and chronic conditionsIdentify the need for referrals and provide overall care coordination in a team-based settingAssure accurate and timely completion of all clinical records; Completion of paperwork in a team-based approachCompleting necessary paperwork for patient care such as, prior authorizations and communications with outside specialistsTimely response to communications and test results; Provide feedback to appropriate teams and/or individuals when necessaryMaintain confidentiality of all client information.Attend required in service/training/staff meetings as scheduled.Perform other duties as assigned.
