Accounting Manager

JM Test Systems is seeking an experienced anddetail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensurethe accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial processes. This role partners closely with the Controller and CFO andserves as a key leader across the accounting function—owning the generalledger, driving a strong close process, and ensuring consistent, compliantpractices across multiple locations. You’ll act as the bridge between transactional accounting(AP), staff accountants, and leadership—bringing structure, visibility, andcontinuous improvement to our financial operations. What You’ll Do Leadthe monthly and annual close process across all locations Reviewand approve journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Ensuretimely, accurate financial statements and reporting Maintaingeneral ledger integrity and consistency Partnerwith leadership on variance analysis and executive reporting Ensurecompliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Supportinternal and external audits Strengthenand monitor internal controls Identifyand drive process improvements and efficiencies Optimizeuse of Sage 100 and related systems Overseesales and use tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions Partnercross-functionally with AR, Purchasing, Payroll, and Operations Leadand develop the accounting team, including the AP Supervisor and staffaccountants OverseeAP operations through the AP Supervisor to ensure accuracy, timeliness,and compliance What You Bring Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting or Finance (required) CPA(preferred or in progress) 3–5+years of progressive accounting experience Experiencewith month-end close and financial reporting Experiencein multi-location or service-based environments preferred ERPexperience (Sage 100 or similar strongly preferred) Priorleadership or team oversight experience preferred Key Skills Strongknowledge of GAAP AdvancedExcel skills Highattention to detail and accuracy Stronganalytical and problem-solving ability Abilityto manage multiple deadlines and priorities Strongcommunication and cross-functional collaboration What Success Looks Like Consistent,on-time and accurate financial close Clean,audit-ready financials Reducederrors and rework across accounting processes Improvedefficiency and scalability of accounting operations Stronginternal controls and compliance Clear,actionable financial insights for leadership Benefits & Perks Competitivebase salary + bonus opportunity Comprehensivemedical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k)with company match Paidtime off (PTO) and paid holidays Company-paidlife and disability insurance Opportunitiesfor professional development and career growth Collaborative,team-oriented work environment Exposureto leadership and cross-functional business operations Why JM Test Systems?
