Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) Solution Architect Finance

The RoleThe BC Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing and ensuring the integrity of financial solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role leads and coordinates teams of functional consultants and serves as a trusted advisor to customers’ finance teams, helping them design processes from the chart of accounts and dimensions through payables, receivables and month-end close. The BC Solutions Architect also contributes to the development of Western Computer’s BC finance best practices and participates actively in presales activities.What You'll DoDesign finance processes in BC, from chart of accounts and dimensions to posting groups and approvals.Turn finance requirements into clear design documents and configuration specs.Provide leadership and guidance to a team of functional consultants on the implementation of BC solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems.Plan data migration so opening balances and open AP/AR reconcile at go-live.Ensure smooth deployment of solutions by coordinating with project teams, managing timelines, and addressing technical challenges.Oversee integrations of BC systems with other enterprise applications.Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs and technical requirements.Run workshops, training sessions, and presentations to communicate solution designs and implementation plans with CFOs, controllers and finance teams.Support presales and help build our BC finance best practices.What You Bring7+ years implementing Business Central or NAV, with a focus on financeStrong knowledge of accounting, AP/AR processes and month-end closeExperience leading full-cycle projects and consultant teamsClear communication and presales skillsAccounting degree, CPA or MB-800 certification is a plusThe PerksStellar Salary: Get ready to be rewarded handsomely, with a competitive OTE ranging from $140k - $160k USD per year.
