Sr. Manager, Offshore Sales

Location: Troy, MI / Greensboro, NC

Role Overview

As the Sr. Manager of Offshore Sales, your primary focus will be to drive ALTEN's offshore revenue by partnering directly with Sales Managers and/or Division Directors on client visits and sales calls — presenting, positioning, and closing ALTEN's offshore engineering services offerings to both existing accounts and new prospects. You will lead and coach a team of sales professionals, support the sales cycle end-to-end alongside Sales Directors, and work closely with ALTEN's technical and delivery teams to shape offshore solutions that map to client needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Accompany Sales Directors on client meetings (existing and prospective) to present and sell ALTEN's offshore offerings.
• Act as the offshore subject-matter expert in sales conversations, articulating value proposition, delivery model, and pricing structure to clients.
• Support Sales Directors in closing offshore deals — proposal development, pricing input, negotiation support, and contract strategy for offshore engagements.
• Build and expand relationships with existing clients to grow offshore share of wallet.
• Support new client sales efforts led by Sales Directors, joining calls and meetings as the offshore sales specialist.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals focused on offshore sales support and execution.
• Establish team goals and monitor weekly KPIs, pipeline, revenue, and profitability tied to offshore sales activity.
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure offshore solutions proposed in sales conversations are deliverable and aligned with customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and opportunities within Salesforce.
• Travel with Sales to customer sites, including internationally, as needed.
• Partner with executive leadership to align offshore sales strategy with overall company growth objectives.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field required.
• 7–10 years of Sales or Account Management experience, ideally supporting or partnering with senior sales leaders.
• 3+ years of sales leadership experience.
• Experience selling offshore, international, or global engineering services offerings is required
• Engineering or consulting services experience is required
• Established network within engineering, technology, OEM, or Tier 1 organizations preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills — comfortable presenting technical offerings to executive-level client stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across international markets and time zones.
