Position Overview :

To act as the assistant to the General Manager in managing the hotel's operations, maintaining established revenue, cost and quality standards. Oversees overall day-to-day hotel operations as delegated by the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

•Generates through proper supervision of assigned departments projected revenue levels as well as guest satisfaction.

• Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the hotel.

• Remains current on business trends and local activities.

• Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.

• Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement.

• Ensures proper handling of guest complaints.

• Assists in the development of new programs which results in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational

excellence.

• Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.

• Ensures cross-selling of other Shamin Hotels by hotel staff.

• Teaching, mentoring, and directing hotel staff.

• Being comfortable with the high level of visibility and the leadership role within the hotel and community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or extensive experience in a hotel or related field required.

• 1-2 years of hotel experience is preferred.

• Strong financial knowledge required.

• Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and possess basic mathematical skills

• Reading, Writing, Basic Math

• Computer skills

• Brand systems
