SE WDCE Assistant General Manager

Job Title

JOB SUMMARY: Assists the General Manager with all duties.

Specific Duties

• Assist the General Manager in planning, organizing and running weekly Executive Board meetings and General Staff meetings
• Record minutes for all Executive Board meetings and General Staff meetings
• Distribute minutes for all meetings before the following meeting
• Manage finances
• Communicate with all DJs about University and FCC rules and regulations
• Assist with strategic planning with Station Manager, Faculty Advisor, General Manager and Program Director
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned by the professional staff

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience of 1-semester minimum on WDCE Executive Board

• Must possess problem solving and growth mindset with a positive attitude and an initiative to resolve questions or concerns

• Must work a minimum of 2 office hours per week

• Preferred qualification of a 1-hour (minimum) on-air show

• Must attend all weekly Executive Board meetings and General Staff Meetings (unless previously-approved absence)

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Forms and social media platforms

• Strong communication and administrative skills

• Ability to multi-task and work independently

• Approx. 15-20 hours/week
