About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Fine Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and communicating a strong and enduring vision for the College, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, research, scholarship, and creative activity are upheld. This leadership role also involves the management of financial, human, and physical resources, as well as the recruitment and retention of exceptional faculty and staff. The Dean will serve as the primary advocate and fundraiser for the College, working to enhance its profile and support. Applicants for the Dean position at the College of Fine Arts should have a proven track record in academic and administrative leadership, with a deep understanding of the arts and a commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive creative community. A terminal degree in a relevant field is required, along with a strong record of scholarly and creative achievement. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising and a clear vision for the future of the arts in an academic setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
