Assistant Director of Nursing | Inpatient Psychiatric | New Baltimore, MI

A psychiatric hospital in New Baltimore, Michigan is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing and they are putting real money on the table to get the right person.

What you get:

$110,000 to $125,000 a year
$7,500 sign on bonus
Up to $10,000 in relocation assistance
Full benefits package

What you will be doing:

Supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations
Managing staffing, hiring, training and performance of the nursing team
Ensuring patient care meets federal, state and local compliance standards
Stepping in to lead the nursing team when the DON is unavailable
Handling crisis intervention and incident investigations
Identifying staff education needs and building training programs

What you need to bring:

Current RN license in Michigan
Minimum two years of RN experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting
At least one year of nursing leadership or management experience
CPR and de-escalation certification required upon hire
Experience in a union hospital environment is a strong plus
