About TAC Transportation Auction Consultants specializes in auctions of commercial trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. We are seeking a creative, motivated Marketing & Business Development Specialist to promote our auctions, strengthen customer relationships, and help generate new business. Responsibilities Marketing & Content Develop campaigns to attract sellers, consignors, and qualified buyers. Manage social media, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Update website content, auction promotions, and equipment listings. Photograph trucks, trailers, equipment, and auction activities. Create and edit videos, reels, graphics, and promotional materials. Produce drone photography and video as needed. Prepare email campaigns and auction announcements. Track engagement, inquiries, and leads to improve results. Maintain accurate information and consistent company branding. Business Development Identify prospective consignors, fleet owners, dealers, and contractors. Contact prospects by phone, email, and in person. Build relationships with new and existing customers. Support outside sales representatives with prospecting and follow-up. Maintain organized prospect records and follow-up activity. Assist with presentations, proposals, and sales materials. Attend auctions, customer visits, and industry events as needed. Work with leadership to meet marketing and business growth goals. Qualifications 1–3 years of relevant marketing, business development, or sales experience. Strong writing, communication, and customer relationship skills. Experience creating content and managing business social media accounts. Proficiency with Canva or similar design software and video editing tools. Photography and video production skills; drone experience strongly preferred. Ability to update websites and learn new software. Comfortable making prospecting calls and following up with potential customers. Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaborate with sales and office teams. Willingness to travel for auctions, customer visits, and content creation. Valid driver’s license. Experience in auctions, commercial trucks, heavy equipment, transportation, or dealerships is preferred.
