ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school district in Birmingham, Alabama for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year. This is an ASAP start opportunity running through June 10, 2027, with a full-time schedule and the opportunity to support students across multiple school sites.

The OT will travel between several schools throughout the week, providing occupational therapy services to students across different settings. This position is a great fit for an OT who enjoys variety in their workday and thrives in a collaborative, school-based environment.

Typical Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM
Caseload: Approximately 50–60 students
School Sites: OT will travel between several schools throughout the week

What You’ll Do
Provide occupational therapy services to students across multiple school locations
Support students with fine motor, sensory, functional, and school-based occupational needs
Develop and implement therapy plans based on individual student needs and IEP goals
Conduct assessments and evaluations as appropriate
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning
Manage services across multiple school sites while maintaining effective communication and organization

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Alabama OT license or eligibility for Alabama licensure
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations throughout the workweek
Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
