Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Lee, MA, responsible for supporting store leadership in driving sales, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This role oversees daily floor operations, including supervising team members, monitoring service standards, and ensuring visual merchandising and product presentation align with brand guidelines. The Assistant Manager participates in scheduling, task delegation, and performance feedback, while helping to train and develop store associates. Additional responsibilities include supporting inventory management, loss prevention efforts, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The role also partners with management to foster an inclusive, engaging store culture that reflects Old Navy’s values and delivers a memorable shopping experience. Qualifications Retail leadership and team management skills, including experience supervising staff and supporting performance development. Customer service and sales skills to engage shoppers, resolve concerns, and drive store results. Operational and organizational skills, such as handling inventory processes, scheduling, and store opening/closing procedures. Communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse team members and delivering clear direction. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and follow-through. Experience in retail or related customer-facing roles; prior management or key-holder experience is preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
