A Day in the Life:

The National Director of Enrollment & Outreach leads CIP’s national enrollment and professional outreach strategy across all CIP’s Autism Transition Centers. This role is responsible for driving enrollment results, strengthening professional referral relationships, training and developing the Enrollment & Outreach Specialist team and Center leadership, improving pipeline and forecasting practices, and ensuring a consistent enrollment process across CIP.

The Director supervises National Office team members assigned to the enrollment and outreach function and provides functional leadership to Center-based teams, including enrollment strategy, training, coaching, pipeline management, Salesforce CRM expectations, forecasting, outreach methodology, and performance standards.

The ideal candidate combines proven enrollment and sales discipline with the credibility and relationship skills needed to work effectively with families, students, educators such s guidance or transition counselors, therapists and other clinicians, educational consultants, and other professionals. They have deep experience with neurodiversity, behavioral health, and related fields. They are a strong coach, comfortable with data and accountability, skilled at building scalable systems, familiar working within multi-location organizations, and committed to thoughtful, student-centered enrollment practices.

This position requires approximately 25-35% national travel, including visits to CIP Centers, professional conferences, referral-partner meetings, team meetings, and other organizational events. Some overnight, evening, and weekend travel may be required. The position involves a moderate physical demand.

The College Internship Program (CIP) is a full-year private young adult transition program for individuals 18-26 with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences offering comprehensive and specialized services. CIP’s programs uniquely address the needs of adolescents and young adults with high-functioning autism, ADHD, and other learning differences by providing a comprehensive curriculum, expert staffing, and a structured weekly schedule. We believe that a learning disability is a learning difference, and our expert staff understand and meet our young adults enrolled in the program where they are at. Our programs focus on the generalization of specialized skills specifically for autism and learning differences. CIP students live with a close-knit community of peers within a supported apartment living setting and fully access the community around them. Each student’s unique needs are met individually as they prepare for success in independent living, college, and employment. CIP is the result of strategies we have developed over 40 years working with hundreds of young people who learn differently and have exceptionalities, helping develop the self-knowledge and skills to live happy and productive lives.

All the Responsibilities We’ll Trust You With:

• Develop and lead CIP’s national enrollment strategy

• Establish and monitor Center and national enrollment goals

• Lead pipeline reviews, forecasting, conversion analysis, and enrollment performance management

• Provide training, coaching, onboarding, and professional development for team members

• Establish consistent enrollment practices, qualification standards, sales processes, and family engagement expectations.

• Serve as the primary accountable person for CIP’s enrollment process and Salesforce CRM practices.

• Build and maintain professional referral strategies with schools, clinicians, educational consultants, colleges, and other referral partners.

• Develop territory and outreach plans for each CIP Center.

• Partner with Center-based Program Directors regarding team performance, Center priorities, and local outreach.

• Partner with Marketing on lead generation, events, content, campaigns, and market development.

• Monitor student fit, early persistence, and enrollment quality to continuously improve admissions practices.

• Maintain clear enrollment reporting, dashboards, forecasts, and performance expectations.

• Represent CIP at conferences, professional events, presentations, and industry meetings.

• Supervise National team members assigned to enrollment, admissions operations, and outreach functions.

Qualities You Possess:

• This position will possess exceptional communication skills, precise attention to detail, superior organization and prioritization skills and self-motivation in managing tasks to completion. They will have genuine empathy and awareness of the needs and sensitivities of prospective families, students, and staff.

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

• Leadership experience in enrollment, admissions, business development, consultative sales, or a related field.

• Leadership experience guiding multi-location teams and collaborating effectively with both National and Center leadership.

• Strong experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance metrics.

• Strong coaching, communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.

• Experience in education, specialized education, behavioral health, therapeutic programs, or other referral-driven organizations preferred.

• Experience with neurodivergent adolescents and young adults and their families highly preferred

• Experience with Salesforce preferred.

• Ability to travel nationally approximately 25-35%.
