The mission of the Wisconsin Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (WAFCC) is to support, strengthen, and advocate for the uniqueness of Wisconsin’s free and charitable clinics, the patients they serve, and the communities with whom they partner. The location for this project is HealthNet of Rock County in Rock County, Wisconsin. HealthNet of Rock County provides free and low-cost medical, dental, and behavioral health services to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured. Through a strong network of volunteer providers and community partnerships, HealthNet works to ensure access to quality healthcare for vulnerable populations in the community. HealthNet of Rock County continues to expand its services and impact and is seeking to strengthen its internal systems and organizational capacity to better meet the growing healthcare needs in the region. This includes updating policies and procedures, enhancing data collection and program evaluation, strengthening communication systems, and improving volunteer engagement. Member Duties Support capacity-building efforts by conducting a communications audit and developing digital marketing and social media strategies, including Canva templates, content calendars, and engagement tracking. Support fundraising by researching grants, creating proposal templates, assisting with campaigns, and tracking donor activity. Build and improve technology systems and workflows using tools like Google Forms, shared drives, and SOPs. Strengthen community outreach by developing strategies, tracking partnerships, and supporting campaigns and storytelling efforts. Create sustainability resources such as a VISTA manual, system documentation, and staff training materials to ensure long-term impact and continuity.
