Role Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment plans that align with both immediate and long-term objectives for communication, cognitive, and swallowing interventions.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, language capabilities, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and caregivers—to formulate cohesive treatment strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress made during therapy and encourage continuity of care.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy sessions to ensure comprehensive management across the care continuum.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation adhering to state regulations and organizational policies.
• Stay informed on industry advances through ongoing education and professional collaboration.

Education and Credentials

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• State licensure for Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
