DHH Specialist or Audiologist for the 2024/2025 School Year in Westport, CT

Job Description Minimum 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Position : DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) Specialist or Audiologist Location : Westport, CT area School Year : 2024/2025 Employment Type : Contracted position through Soliant pensation : petitive hourly rate Hours : Approximately 15 hours per week of direct services Total of 20-25 hours per week including meetings and other duties Job Description : Soliant is partnering with a school district in the Westport, CT area to hire a dedicated and experienced DHH Specialist or Audiologist for the uping 2024/2025 school year. This part-time, contracted role involves providing support and instruction to students with hearing impairments across various grade levels. Responsibilities : Attend meetings and PPTs (Planning and Placement Team meetings). Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with hearing impairments. Provide training to staff and students. Deliver direct TOD (Teacher of the Deaf) instruction to students with hearing impairments. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Caseload/Assignment Information Caseload includes approximately 10 students from Pre-K to 12th grade. The position will involve working across multiple school buildings within the district. Qualifications : Certification or licensure as a DHH Specialist or Audiologist. Experience working with students with hearing impairments. Strong munication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
