Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Day with On-Call Rotation)

Location: Hermiston, OR 97838

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join the perioperative team at Good Shepherd Medical Center. The RN Circulator will provide high-quality patient care across the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgical care. This role includes patient advocacy, collaboration with the surgical team, and supervision of assigned personnel in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.
Assist in preparing operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
Monitor and advocate for patients before, during, and after surgery.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.

Requirements

Active Oregon RN license (must be current).
Minimum 3 years of operating room/circulating RN experience required.
Proficiency with EPIC EMR .
Ability to work day shifts with on-call coverage.
BLS/ACLS (preferred).
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Assignment Details

Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM + on-call rotation
Hours: 40 guaranteed per week
Facility Size: 0-49 beds
EMR: EPIC
Holiday Coverage: Required
