Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) registered nurses are needed for a night shift position at a healthcare facility. The role involves caring for post-cardiac patients and those with arrhythmias, CHF, COPD, and other cardiac-related diagnoses. The RN will be responsible for reading EKG strips, titrating Heparin drips, and providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) at a healthcare facility with overall 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license with a willingness to submit license to the organization. Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience reading EKG strips and managing patients with cardiac arrhythmias or post-cardiac procedures.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with weekends every other week. Self-scheduling is permitted, and block scheduling is available if needs are met.
• Additional Information:
  • Teamwork is highly valued, with a supportive staff accustomed to onboarding new graduates.
  • Floating may be required to other units such as ICU and Stepdown, within the candidates skill set.
  • Orientation includes one day of computer training and one day shadowing with a preceptor, followed by independent work on the third day.
  • The unit employs a unit clerk to assist with administrative duties.
  • Scrubs are royal blue; jackets are optional but must be actual scrub jackets if worn.
  • COVID-19 vaccination status is not specified.
