Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Superintendent to join our dynamic construction management team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. As a General Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing site operations, supervising subcontractors, collaborating with project managers, and maintaining compliance with all safety and quality standards. Your leadership will be critical in driving project success, fostering effective communication among team members, and resolving any issues that arise on the job site. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee and manage day-to-day construction site operations across multiple projects. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to align objectives and deliverables. Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions proactively. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to maintain clear communication among stakeholders. Manage resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 3 years in a general superintendent role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
