Job Description

• Manage all day-to-day field operations from project kickoff through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules alongside the Project Manager.
• Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors and field personnel.
• Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and contract requirements.
• Oversee structural work, interior construction, and finish installations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
• Conduct daily site inspections and proactively resolve field issues.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with NYC building regulations.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, architects, designers, and ownership.
• Manage punch list completion and project closeout activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Superintendent should have:

• Experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor specializing in high-end residential construction.
• Proven success managing gut renovations of townhomes, brownstones, penthouses, or luxury apartments.
• Experience coordinating structural scopes within occupied or existing buildings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, and quality control.
• Ability to lead subcontractors while maintaining demanding project schedules.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Thorough understanding of NYC construction practices, inspections, and safety requirements.
• OSHA 30 certification required; NYC SST certification preferred.
