Construction Superintendent

Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the New York City market. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team and oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and driving projects to successful completion. Responsibilities Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through turnover Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved Enforce site safety standards and company procedures Conduct daily site walks and quality control inspections Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and site operations Work closely with Project Managers and ownership teams to resolve issues and maintain project progress Lead subcontractor meetings and daily planning activities Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local regulations Maintain project documentation, reports, and field records Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor Strong understanding of construction means and methods Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules Knowledge of NYC construction practices and safety requirements Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications OSHA certification preferred Performance-based bonus opportunities PTO and paid holidays Long-term growth and advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Inventus Partners
