Responsibilities Support pipe layers, operators, and the foreman by coordinating all materials to install sanitary, water main, and storm pipes and manholes. Maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness. Ensure materials and workflow stay organized and efficient. Operate loader and backfill excavator between loader and backfill excavator as needed. Qualifications Valid Driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Class A CDL desired but not essential. High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 3+ years experience in sewer and water. Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, weekends as needed. Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, dirty and dusty environments. Ability to clean, maintain, and assist in repairing equipment. Successfully pass or has passed the Operators Union aptitude test when required. Union, Hours, and Work Conditions Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to become a union member is required; union membership may not be required prior to employment. Our Human Resources Department is available to assist in that process if needed. Work varied hours including nights, early mornings, weekends as needed.
