Assistant Program Director, Cleveland & Pottawatomie County Full Time Norman, OK, US Salary Range: $60,664.00 To $93,206.00 Annually JOB FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of the Head Start/Early Head Start Program Director, the Head Start/Early Head Start Assistant Program Director assists the Head Start /Early Head Start Program Director in administering the Head Start program. Provides leadership and oversight of Head Start/Early Head Start program operations in collaboration with the Program Director. Oversees Area Supervisors and Content Area staff to ensure effective program management, consistent service delivery, and compliance with Head Start standards and program requirements. Supports the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality services to children and families while promoting continuity across program areas. Reviews and provides recommendations regarding personnel matters, including recruitment, employment, retention, promotion, and termination, while supporting staff performance and organizational goals. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing and receive and provide feedback, Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Knowledge: Must be computer literate and have accurate typing skills as well as the ability to operate a variety of office equipment; Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills required; Community resources, methods and practices of health and safety precautions, providing age-appropriate education services and facilitating family involvement in program services; Ability to comply with Head Start Performance Standards.
