Warehouse Picker / Packer 1st Shift

This role focuses on accurately processing customer orders and handling warehouse equipment and inventory in a fast-paced environment. You sort and manage printed order tickets, perform order management tasks in Microsoft D365 F&O, and carry out a variety of hands-on warehouse activities such as kitting, palletizing, and labeling equipment. You work on 1st shift from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and play a key part in ensuring products are prepared, packed, and shipped correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Sort printed order pick tickets and assign them to the appropriate picking baskets.
• Read and respond to emails and CE cases, researching issues and providing accurate, timely responses.
• Perform order management functions in Microsoft D365 F&O, including order rollbacks, line backorders, and order shipping upgrades.
• Process DOA replacements for the Integration Lab in the order management system.
• Handle order modifications and inventory transfers to resolve missing product issues.
• Perform kitting of equipment according to defined procedures.
• Palletize products safely and efficiently to prepare them for shipment or storage.
• Hand-shrink wrap and restock product as needed.
• Strap pallets securely to ensure safe transport.
• Apply labels to equipment and ensure accurate asset tagging of product.
• Unbox and re-box equipment following established guidelines.
• Use RF scanners to pick orders and track inventory accurately.
• Support inventory activities such as cycle counts and stock checks.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, where required and permitted.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in both warehouse and office settings.
• Collaborate with team members across departments such as Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, ITAD, Integration Lab, and Special Projects.
• Multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
