This position will handle intake. Minimum Qualifications At a minimum, selected candidates must possess the following:
• Knowledge and/or experience of the criminal justice system to include court proceedings
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, guidelines and procedures
• Knowledge of techniques to interview clients
• Knowledge of client counseling techniques
• Knowledge and ability to assess client needs and to develop case plans
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing including the creation of written reports
• Knowledge and ability to identify community resources and human service agencies to support families
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products
• A valid driver's license is required or the ability to obtain by the date of hire Additional Considerations Additional considerations include the following:
• Experience working with juveniles and their families
• Experience with community programming
• Intake experience
