Position Overview The Manager in Training (MIT) partner with the store manager to meet sales goals, foster a customer‑focused environment, manage team performance, and uphold visual and operational standards. The program prepares MITs for a store manager role within 3–6 months and requires relocation to a new store or a group of stores. Responsibilities Drive a customer‑focused store environment and achieve sales goals. Assist the store manager in customer obsession, sales management, talent management, and operational execution. Manage team activities, payroll hours, schedules, and performance evaluations. Maintain visual merchandising, implement promotional changes, and manage inventory control. Ensure compliance with company policies, HR procedures, and security protocols. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; a business or retail merchandising degree preferred. Supervisory experience in a customer‑focused environment; fashion industry experience preferred. Proven track record of achieving goals and implementing company direction. Experience in hiring, promoting, and motivating talent. Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills. Ability to lead by example, make sound decisions, and demonstrate professionalism. Commitment to a specific store location or a group of new and existing stores. Unique/Physical Requirements Work varied hours/days as business dictates. Must reach, push, pull, stand, squat, bend for up to 8+ hours. Operate store equipment, including a computerized register system. Move or handle merchandise up to 50 lbs.
