Production Supervisor

FLSA: Salaried Exempt Summary The Production Supervisor leads their team to ensure efficient production and expected performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervises direct reports and provides leadership to team/department Trains, supports and monitors and direct reports to ensure expected job performance Helps recruit and select team members Is responsible for meeting and exceeding Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity goals Helps lead Continuous Improvement projects and processes using LEAN tools and concepts Evaluates performance of direct reports by writing and administering reviews in a timely manner Provides coaching and development to team members Provides production data and reports as required by Manager Conducts daily stand- up meetings and provides support as needed Evaluates labor requirements to recommend proper staffing levels Monitors and recommends overtime requirements for the team/department Helps resolve material issues by working with Purchasing and material management Performs other tasks as assigned by Manager Job Requirements Minimum 3 years leadership experience Minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing environment Associates or Bachelor's degree, preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact well and coach team members Excellent computer skills.
