Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Pay: $52,000 - 55,000 / yr
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As an Accounts Payable Specialist , you'll play an important role in managing the company's vendor payment activities from invoice review through processing and reconciliation. What You'll Do
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Review and process invoices with accuracy, ensuring transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and investigate discrepancies to help resolve payment or account concerns.
• Adhere to established accounting procedures, internal controls, and company policies throughout the AP process.
• Validate invoice information, determine appropriate GL coding, and obtain necessary approvals before payments are released.
• Keep AP documentation, supporting records, and vendor files organized, complete, and up to date.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 1-2 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related financial experience preferred, though motivated entry-level candidates may be considered.
• Associates Degree
• Strong organizational skills and careful attention to accuracy and detail.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals, invoice handling, and payment processes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to address questions and resolve issues professionally.
