Dishwasher & Receiver - Chevy Chase

Dishwasher & Receiver

Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to keep the kitchen running smoothly

Receive food and supply deliveries, checking for quality, accuracy, and proper temperatures

Put away deliveries using FIFO rotation and proper storage procedures

Keep storerooms, coolers, and freezers clean, organized, and well-stocked

Maintain a clean and sanitary dish room, kitchen, and receiving areas

Assist with basic food prep as needed

Knife skills are a plus and may be used to help with simple prep tasks

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30 A.M.- 3:00 P.M.

Transportation: Free on-campus parking is available. Located on the Metro Red Line. On the bus line just steps away from Walter Reed Hospital and the NIH.

Pay Type: $18.75 Hourly

Time Commitment: Full Time

Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing

Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members

Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP)

Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen

Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English

Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner
