Faculty members prepare students for their chosen fields and foster critical thinking and civic engagement. Position Description Perimeter College seeks part-time instructors in SPEECH COMMUNICATION to contribute to teaching and student support. Required Experience None specified. Required Education Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Teaching experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach Speech Communication at the collegiate level. Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relating to students and facilitating student learning. Effective communication skills. Excellent organizational and teaching skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology. Pre-Employment Requirements Criminal background check is required. Work Hours Classes are offered in the morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends. Salary $3,075.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.
