About the Role The Product Manager is responsible for helping drive the overall health and growth of the Honey Mama's brand. This role supports the development and execution of product strategies, including the commercialization of product renovation / innovation SKUs and the optimization of promotional initiatives designed to increase brand awareness, drive trial, and convert sales. This position works cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Sales, Finance, and external agency partners to deliver key company business objectives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable supporting long-term brand plans while also jumping into day-to-day execution. They thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve and flexibility is essential. Key Responsibilities Product Commercialization & Cross-functional Leadership Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and emerging consumer insights, using consumer research and market data to inform strategic recommendations. Partner with R&D, Operations, and Sales to bring our products to market, working with the Director of Marketing to lead cross-functional initiatives. Execute successful renovation and innovation projects from concept through commercialization. Coordinate and manage product launch timelines; own packaging design briefs & creative execution; support messaging development; and help develop buzzworthy go-to-market plans. Work closely with Sales to develop new item forecasts and track post-launch results. Analyze syndicated data to identify consumption trends and provide actionable insights. Develop strategic, data-based sell-in stories and sales support materials including presentations, sell sheets, and promotional collateral. Partner with the Sales team on retail activation opportunities and customer-specific marketing initiatives. Support trade shows, sampling events, and customer presentations as needed. Brand Management & Marketing Support Ensure overall brand positioning, messaging, and visual consistency across all retail channels. Identify opportunities to strengthen brand awareness, household penetration, and consumer loyalty. Collaborate with other marketing team members to support in-market event execution. Assist in developing and managing the annual marketing budget. Manage and coach one direct report. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in brand management or product marketing, preferably within consumer packaged goods (CPG) or related industries. Experience in and passion for Natural Foods / Products is strongly preferred. Proven experience building and growing brands with purpose. Demonstrated product commercialization management skills, delivering product innovation and renovation projects successfully and on time. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen, Circana) savviness. Curiosity for and experience with consumer insights. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
