As an occupational therapist, you will be an integral part of a small multidisciplinary team, reporting directly to the clinical manager. Your role involves assessing patients and designing personalized treatment plans to aid in their rehabilitation and improve their daily living capabilities. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care while managing documentation, compliance, and education for both patients and caregivers. This position requires no travel and offers opportunities for professional development within a supportive clinical environment.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide rehabilitation therapy focused on improving daily living skills
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and care strategies
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation to ensure compliance
• Coordinate with healthcare team members for holistic patient care
• Recommend appropriate therapeutic equipment and assistive devices
• Train caregivers to support patient therapy programs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards

 

Required Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) credential
• Valid Occupational Therapy License

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in occupational therapy (not required)
• Proficient in patient assessment and therapy planning
• Skilled in rehabilitation techniques and documentation
• Strong communication, empathy, and team collaboration
• Effective problem-solving abilities
