• Schedule: Night shift (5x8 hours, 7:00 PM 3:00 AM) with rotating call responsibilities
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Contract
• Licenses/Certs: Missouri license, BLS required, RNFA preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience

What You'll Do:

• Assist with Adult Cardiothoracic and Cardiac Surgery procedures including CABG, valve repairs, ascending aortic surgeries, and more
• Support surgical teams in the operating room as first assist
• Perform chest tube placements, temporary pacing wires, and endoscopic vein harvesting
• Manage emergent cases such as dissections and redo sternotomies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR system

What You Need:

• Valid Missouri RN license and board certification in Nurse Practitioner
• BLS certification required; RNFA preferred
• At least 2 years of adult cardiac OR first assist experience
• Strong clinical skills in adult cardiac procedures and patient management
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in rotating call schedule
