• Experience: Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in adult cardiac surgery procedures including CABG, valve repairs, and ascending aortic surgeries
• Support emergent surgeries such as dissections and redo sternotomies
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and chest tube placement
• Support mechanical circulatory support procedures (Impella, ECMO, IABP)
• Assist with intraoperative management and patient monitoring in the operating room
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and perioperative teams
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need:

• Valid Missouri state RN license or eligible for licensure
• Board certification in nursing or advanced practice (preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience in a hospital setting
• Strong procedural skills, professionalism, and ability to work night shifts
