It is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center Level IV NICU and affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine. They have 200 pediatric specialists across 60 subspecialties with major programs in cardiology and heart surgery Neonatology cancer care gastroenterology and neurology/neurosurgery. A brand new modern replacement hospital is currently under construction expected completion in 2027 with expanded facilities and state of the art technology! Daily Census: 4-5 per day may increase with additional provider • Beds: 195 beds • Patient Age Group: primary peds with occasional adult • Procedures: General genetics evaluations biochemical/metabolic disorder management inpatient consults PICUNICUpediatric ward • Strong diagnostic skills in in genetics experience with metabolic conditions ability to collaborate with genetic counselors REQUIRED • Equipment: Requirements: • Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC in genetics required • State Licenses: MO and IL for occasional telehealth consults will accept licensure candidates • Certifications: BLS • CSR Req’d: Yes BNDD • DEA Req’d?: Yes • Years of Experience Req’d:2-5 years minimum Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days BR: 195 - 260 On-Call Rate: TBD Willing To License?: Yes! Client would highly prefer candidates to also have an IL license for those who are patients but cannot make it into the office so they can provide telehealth.
