Our kitchen is looking for skilled kitchen staff members to join our team. You will be tasked with doing your part to help our restaurant operate as efficiently and effectively as possible by collaborating with other team members. This will require you to be adaptable, hard-working, and willing to take directions to make sure our kitchen has what it needs to do its best work. Existing knowledge of food safety procedures and/or food handlers license is not required but is preferred. No experience necessary. Hours will vary and may include mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Job Requirements Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish. Inspecting the quality of fruits, vegetables, and fish used to prepare dishes Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination. Ability to read recipes and memorize and replicate food production procedures. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Communicating with wait staff to ensure that special requests and food allergy considerations are met. Works with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment typical of a restaurant kitchen, including, but not limited to flattop grill, oven, mixer, food processor, dicer, and steam wells.
