Operating Room (OR) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting throughout the perioperative process
• Assist surgical teams by preparing and maintaining a sterile field and ensuring proper instrumentation is available
• Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes
• Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1–2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting
• Familiarity with a wide range of surgical specialties and procedures
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
