Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, financial performance, and member experience of all food & beverage operations. This individual oversees front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, staff development, and achievement of departmental goals. The Director works closely with the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Manager and Events Coordinator. Serves as a key member of the Club's management team. $95,000 - $105,000 a year.

Essential Responsibilities

· Lead and develop a culture of hospitality that consistently exceeds member and guest expectations.

· Maintain a visible presence throughout the Club and personally engage with members and guests.

· Oversee all dining areas, banquet operations, beverage programs, seasonal outlets, and special events.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and Club operating standards.

· Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, pricing strategies, and food quality initiatives.

· Develop and manage annual operating budgets and departmental business plans.

· Monitor revenues, labor costs, inventory controls, expenses, and profitability.

· Recruit, train, mentor, schedule, and evaluate food and beverage team.

· Conduct performance reviews and establish professional development opportunities.

· Assist in planning and promoting dining programs, tournaments, member events, and Club functions.

· Prepare financial reports and event profit-and-loss analyses as requested.

Qualifications

· Minimum 2–5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience in a full-service dining environment.

· Private club experience preferred.

· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

· Demonstrated financial management and cost-control experience.

· Commitment to exceptional hospitality and member service.

· Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as required.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
