Registered Nurse NICU

Standard shifts are required with weekend coverage, including 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and/or Saturday night) and 2 Sunday nights per 6-week schedule. Must be available for two (2) 12-hour on-call shifts per 6-week schedule.

Contract length is 13 weeks with a guarantee of 3 shifts per week. Canceled shifts must align with the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned.

Active Registered Nurse license

Two (2) years of nursing experience required

Certifications required: BLS, NRP

Experience in attending High Risk Deliveries and within NICU settings (Level 1, NICU II, NICU III)

Proficient in skills such as ventilation management, central line care, IV starts, and neonatal dosage calculations

Charting experience with EPIC preferred

Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs

Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates, including those < 24-28 weeks, 29-34 weeks, and > 34 weeks gestation

Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring

Administer blood and blood products, antibiotics, and anti-seizure medications

Support family education and developmental care practices

Perform procedures including lumbar puncture and phlebotomy

Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and infection control procedures
