Department/Unit Summary

Provides strategic leadership for the organization's Quality, Risk Management, and Medical Staff functions, overseeing clinical risk programs, claims management, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Requirements

1. NM RN License or multistate
2. Bachelor's degree from accredited nursing school
3. Must have at least 5 years' experience in Nursing with at least 3 years as a Director/Manager
4. Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred upon hire and required within 3 years of employment
5. Risk Management, Quality and Medical Staff experience required.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

1. Prior acute healthcare risk management experience is preferred and can substitute for the leadership experience
2. Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred. Previous Director level experience preferred.
