For this part-time Financial Services Representative position, we are looking for candidates that can work Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the branch manager and/or a senior member of staff, they will greet members and prospects in person and on the phone in a highly enthusiastic, efficient and effective manner, exhibiting above and beyond service skills. Serves as the initial source of information on membership eligibility and San Mateo Credit Union products and services. Responsible for meeting member needs, responding to inquiries, resolving member issues and directing members in the branch and lobby to the appropriate employee for service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides excellent member service, carrying out the member service standards with each member
• Effectively manages branch walk-in log via TimeTrade
• Within established guidelines and procedures, performs work requiring the use of judgment and discretion in making decisions to satisfy member needs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor or Branch Manager.
• Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and laws enforced by the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• Provides service that aligns with the Credit Union's mission of passionately delivering relevant products, services, and education tailored to help our members, employees, and communities achieve their financial goals.

Qualifications

• Must be organized with an ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments in a fast-paced, independent manner
• Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and face-to-face with members, prospects, and fellow employees
• A high degree of accuracy is required
• Willingness and ability to support other staff
• Must demonstrate flexibility in taking advantage of internal and external resources available
• Basic PC skills, including Windows and MS Office applications
