Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper
Seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to support its day-to-day accounting operations. This role will be primarily responsible for monthly bank and GL account reconciliations. Additional GL duties will include assisting with general ledger accounting and month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close and general ledger activities
- Support accounting operations and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Staff Accountant, Accounting Specialist, or Bookkeeper
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with bank reconciliations, and general accounting processes
- Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred
- Intermediate accounting and Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Additional Information:
- Approximately 3 days per week onsite in the Maryland Farms area
- Collaborative culture with direct interaction with leadership
- Opportunity to wear multiple hats and contribute across the accounting function
Location: Maryland Farms (Brentwood, TN) Target Pay rate: $32-36.50 Compensation: Target compensation once permanent in the $70,000s
