About This Role The Associate Director of Nursing for Nursing Administration is a key member of the management team, responsible for overseeing patient care and staffing while collaborating with clinical nursing directors to achieve organizational goals. Highlights Pay: $137,987 - $155,000/year Location: Bronx, NY Facility: Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center Department/Unit: NURSING ADMINISTRATION Schedule: Full-Time, Night (12:00 A.M – 8 A.M), 35 Hours per Week What You'll Do Assume 24-hour nursing responsibilities for all elements of patient care and staffing. Interpret organizational goals, mission, vision, and policies to staff. Oversee daily operations of the Department of Medicine and Critical Services. Ensure adequate staffing coverage for assigned units. Conduct risk assessments to reduce adverse events. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety principles. Participate in the recruitment process and monitor staff retention. Ensure performance appraisals are ongoing and objective. Participate in the development and monitoring of the Quality Improvement Program. Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, Education, or an equivalent field required. Experience: Minimum of six years of satisfactory nursing experience, with four years in a supervisory, teaching, or administrative capacity required. Licenses & Certifications: Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
