Salesforce Developer (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 - 8 months with potential of extension

Location: Washington, D.C

Note: Relocation is acceptable for qualified non-local candidates, provided they are willing to relocate on their own schedule

Candidates must reside in the DC Metro Area

Hybrid work arrangement

Required onsite presence: 2–3 days per week

Position Overview

We are looking for hands-on Salesforce Developers with strong platform development experience supporting Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments. Candidates must be more than Salesforce administrators and should possess solid coding and customization capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Clearance Requirements

• Public Trust eligibility required
• Active Secret clearance preferred
• Previous Secret clearance highly desirable

Required Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification required
• Strong experience with:
• Apex development
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce integrations/APIs
• Sales Cloud
• Service Cloud
• Experience customizing and extending Salesforce applications
• Ability to participate in customer technical interviews with the Department of State
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) certification preferred
• Prior federal government experience
• Previous State Department, DoD, or civilian agency experience preferred
• Previous cleared environment experience is highly valued
