Clinical Specialist, Cranial & Spinal Technologies - Chicago, IL

Medtronic Inc

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist for Cranial & Spinal Technologies in Chicago to provide technical and clinical support for neurosurgery and robotics-assisted surgery products. The field-based role involves customer training, system maintenance, and collaboration with surgical teams across a regional territory.

Responsibilities

Support on-site installations and technology-enabled procedures at customer facilities
Maintain and upgrade system hardware, software, and perform preventative maintenance
Provide telephone and on-site clinical support and troubleshooting to customers
Train surgeons, clinicians, and hospital staff on navigation and robotic-assisted surgery technologies
Document installations, file weekly reports, and communicate customer concerns to the district team

Requirements

High school diploma or GED plus minimum 6 years clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
Associate's degree with minimum 4 years relevant clinical or medical sales experience (alternative pathway)
Valid driver's license and ability to reside within assigned territory
Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX commands and surgical technology systems
Strong communication and training skills for diverse hospital personnel
